For a recent HelloComputer FWA TV feature, we decided to build something tangible to express our love of digital. Using the humble Post-it note as a pixel, we built a giant, fully functional QR code.
Developed in Japan in 1994, QR (Quick Response) codes are special barcodes that can store more information than standard barcodes. Using camera phones or special barcode readers, the code can be read, interpreted and redirect the user to a URL.

Where did the QR code direct you? What could be more appropriate than the music video for Daft Punk’s ‘Digital Love’? Yes, “We Digital Love FWA TV”!

Seen any interesting use of QR codes recently? Tell us about them at makefriends@hellocomputer.net.
