To celebrate the summer music season Pringles recently launched an application, which allows users to turn their smartphones into a virtual band. The Pringle Crunch Band app allows anyone to turn their smartphones into 15 air instruments, such as the drums, bass and guitar.

The app uses the smartphone’s accelerometer to trigger the different musical tones.

Users are able to unlock the various instruments simply by scanning the barcode on the Pringles can.

Even the Pringles container can transform into an amp simply by plugging the can into your smartphone.
