We adore the Loerie Awards, so we jumped at the chance to sponsor the development of the 2009 Loerie Awards Feed Your Ego microsite and digital marketing.

The idea was to create some pre-launch buzz for the Loeries as the call to entries open. Given that the Loeries have been feeding egos since 1978 we decided to let the agencies battle it out the old fashioned way. The game involves “Feeding your Ego” and if you win your name goes up in lights for the world to see.
There is a grand prize up for grabs as well and the biggest ego that emerges from the battle will win it. The prize is an ego boosting luxury packed weekend of indulgence in Cape Town, including accommodation for this year’s proceedings. So if you’re coming from inland, great and if you’re already in Cape Town, at least you won’t have to trash your own place after the party.
Something else that is pretty snazzy is that you can download and customise your own ego skin.
