We adore the Loerie Awards, so we jumped at the chance to sponsor the development of the 2009 Loerie Awards Feed Your Ego microsite and digital marketing.
The idea was to create some pre-launch buzz for the Loeries as the call to entries open. Given that the Loeries have been feeding egos since 1978 we decided to let the agencies battle it out the old fashioned way. The game involves “Feeding your Ego” and if you win your name goes up
Our friends at Ikineo have been kind enough to deliver a fully stocked, icy cold Glaceau VitaminWater fridge.
With everyone feeling particularly inspired (and energized) we are holding thumbs that this will lead to some exciting projects in the future.
So, as some of you might have noticed, the blog has been especially quiet lately. This is thanks largely to us moving over from withtank over to WordPress. A few people have asked why and the answer is quite simple.

The sheer number of plugins available is astounding (yes I said astounding) and its free.
In todays world, you just can’t beat free.
Especially when it comes with a global support base of people all working to make it better for
Periodic Table of Typeface hotness. Wouldn’t this be nice on our studio wall. We see this stuff occasionally, it’s smart and makes us wish we had made it. Anyhow you may ask yourself what is the most powerful of these, well natrually its Helvetica, what else? If you haven’t used it do so now, if you use it, use it some more. Seriously if god were a font he’d be Helvetica. If Gill sans and Arial had a fight Helvetica would win. Period.
We do love anything that is visually pleasing and perhaps slightly evocative, so it’s easy to appreciate why Miss Mavericks 2008 has our vote at HelloComputer.
We put together a lively shoot with Big Sky Productions last week, focusing on showcasing the best Mavericks have to offer. With a little design help on our part, we think that we definitely captured Yara’s best side.
