Can this celebrated emotion that infatuates society and the place we spend the bulk of our conscious hours be harmonious? Or will their union always be perfunctory? Does work have no alternative but to be a grind? And should the endless hours spent in the office be at the expense of personal fulfillment? Is the pursuit of our dreams waiting for the weekends? These were the questions prodding the direction for my soapbox.
