Sometimes life does the unexpected, sometimes the unexpected is bad and sometimes there is nothing you can do to change the bad.
Then, when you have no choices perhaps all you have left is your attitude.
In Randy Pausche’s story I learnt about a professor of computer science, a husband, a father of three and a true Imagineer. Who, in September 2006 learned that he was terminally ill.
In September 2007, at Carnegie Mellon, he delivered his last lecture entitled “The Last Lecture:

We’re naturally attracted to simple things. User interfaces aside, we also like simple explanations of complex issues.
This is just that - succinct and visually appealing.
Sure, blogging is easy, but getting people involved and motivated to contribute? That’s never easy. In fact it’s something we preach about on a daily basis, but practice less so as individuals. Getting people to read it? Jeezz, tough crowd..That’s even harder, better make it interesting.
Like that one shy girl at the dance, our studio keeps delivering the unexpected behind closed doors and can now celebrate another whoop whoop moment as our very own showreel gets noticed on www.notcot.org.
