The Bookmarks Awards, held last Thursday night, in the City of Gold, position themselves on an international level awarding only the finest work in each respective category. The theme was “Be Big in Digital” a nod to the rock-stardom of the digital landscape. No Grand Prix was awarded, not even a single Gold Pixel. Here at HelloComputer we have received the highly respected “FWA Site of the Day” award for our digital execution of the Loerie Awards campaign. We were approached by Metropolitan Republic to extend this year’s campaign missive to ‘Feed your Ego’ into the digital realm. The Feed your Ego microsite is a nifty, flash based, viral game that invites users to battle against industry egos to win the ultimate crown.
Commissioned by MetropolitanRepublicto bring the Feed Your Ego campaign to life online, HelloComputer designed and developed the microsite www.feedyourego.co.za. Reality goes well and truly out the window here, letting you design your own personal ego to the hilt.
We adore the Loerie Awards, so we jumped at the chance to sponsor the development of the 2009 Loerie Awards Feed Your Ego microsite and digital marketing.
